Activated carbon refers to any product obtained by activating materials containing carbon. It is an amorphous group of carbon with an infinite number of fine holes (10 to 10 mil A) and an extremely large surface area (500~1500§³/g).
Therefore, the larger the size of the fine hole and the surface area, the higher absorption power it has. It is nonpolar material with high chemical and oxidation stability. It is used for a wide range of applications such as odor-removal, decolorization, retrieval, assembly and refinement.
